Invitation for the opening of my show "Die Neuen" at BBK Kunsthalle in Abraxas, Augsburg

I am showing my workseries "Berlin, Berlin!" which was the result of my artist in residence stay at scope Berlin from September 2021 until February 2022.

Dear artists, dear friends  and friends of the art!
You are kindly invited for the exhibition of gedok münchen at Städtische Galerie Traunstein.
The opening will take place on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m.
There will be a finissage on Sunday Nov. 15 from 3 to 6 p.m.
I will show a new series of 8 pieces of small sized 3 - dimensional collages with the title
"Do women have to be naked to get into the museum" (cited by the Guerilla Girls in 1972)

I want to invite you to the very interesting exhibition at Cohaus Kloster Schlehdorf, curated by Anna Schölß.
I am represented there with my works: "Ukraine 1944- 2022", and "Without Title (package to Hans- Eckart)", with K&K , Bündnis Kind un Kunst

An artistic approach about the value of Care and its changes 
Group exhibition in the former Hospital of  Kloster Schlehdorf
 

I love no waiting is a mobile exhibition of Frauenmuseums Berlin e.V., which is taking place at Sunday, 15 of May in a bus serving as an alternative exhibitionspace, standing in front of the Bodemuseum Berlin. The concept of the show is meant as a response to the show of Bodemuseum "Der zweite Blick: Frauen".

"Like an unwritten novel- encounter with the women of my family ", 2021, 200 x 150 cm, pencil and ink on tracing paper
Recurring to Virginia Woolf and her short story " an unwritten novel" I am facing the person of Virginia Woolf with the tracing of the women of my own family.
They lived at the same time, grew up with the strict rules of society for women at that time, had to get along with the early death of siblings and parents.

Some well known and as well aspiring regional artists show their work in the windows of shops of the  Inner City of Augsburg, promoted by the program of "Kultursommer 2021" by the commissary of the state government of culture and media, financed from "Neustart Kultur".

I am showing two works out of the series "bodies", 2020, 160 x 125 cm, ink on canvas in the windows of "Bielefelder Wäsche", Phillippine Welserstr. 17

I am showing my work "paper balls" , 2009. On 70 pieces of transparent paperballs drawings of famous women from society and politics are shown as published from 2001- 2009 in the Süddeutsche Zeitung. The balls are hanging from the ceiling with transparent threads in different levels, visitors are invited to walk among them and come into contact.

Berlin, Berlin!
Homage to a City
“Berlin, Berlin” was the title of a TV series which started in 2002 when our family– on behalf of our ten- year- old daughter - was gathering once a week on the living-room couch to watch it.
In 2020/21 during my current wanderings through the city of Berlin I am collecting different cards, flyers and brochures, all kind of printed materials, that inform about events, shows, museums and sites of public affairs. In my eyes these objects offer me a view through which the city is representing itself.
