Introduction by Dr. Stefan Hartmann, Art Historian, Augsburg

Brigitte Heintzes works were developed after a work stay in Bulgaria.

The works of Kathrina Rudolph consist of forty Collages and corresponding with it forty drawings of ink and colourpencil on large sheets of tracing paper

The Collages tell stories of our everyday life. In the drawings of the tracing paper series they are translated and continued.
In that matter the original Collage-drawing is put on the bottom part of the sheet, whereas the backside-drawing of the Collage is on the upper part, the parts of it seeming not belonging together and  accidental like unfitting puzzlepieces.
Surprisingly though there can always be found a relationship between those two sides, they seem to be corresponding and one image is continuing the story of the other one.
The series is presented hanging on transparent ropes whithin the room, making use of the translucent character of the drawings on the tracing paper.
